Tower Ladder 1
Monday, July 19th, 2021

After over 23 years of dedicated service to the residents of Thornwood and the citizens of Mount Pleasant and surrounding areas, our 1998 Sutphen 95' aerial platform Tower Ladder has been retired from service in the Thornwood Fire Department. Tower Ladder 1 has served with dedication and pride since 1998 and has been on call for several neighboring jurisdictions for several years. She will be joining the ranks of a fire department in Madill, Oklahoma to continue her career. Rescue 75 will be taking on the assignment of our "truck company" for a short time until the arrival of our new Sutphen Tower Ladder which will also hold the name of Tower Ladder 1.
