On March 15, 2017 the Thornwood Fire Company wished fellow Firefighter Maurice "Mo" O'Connor good luck as he begins his career as a United States Marine. We had a dinner for him at Tesoro D' Italian to show our support and brotherhood.

Brian C. Dwyer was born on October 3, 1944. A lifelong resident of Thornwood, Brian graduated from Pleasantville High School in June 1962 and joined the US Navy later that year, serving until February 1966.

TRAINED AND CERTIFIED!!Today, 2/26/2015 the Thornwood Fire Department spent the night doing our Annual CPR/AED Refresher Course. This Training course covered life saving techniques in Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, Choking, and use of an AED.

Thursday, June 28, The Thornwood Fire Company Participated in the Annual Mamaroneck Parade. Mamaroneck Fire Department hosts a Carnival and Parade every year, for 4th of July weekend. Many Departments come to the parade from Westchester County and also from Connecticut to participate in the parade.
